Presentazione: Il Dana è stato sviluppato alla fine degli anni ’70 dalla ZTS per l’esercito cecoslovacco, invece di acquistare il 2S3 Akatsiya sovietico. È basato sul camion Tatra 815 (8×8) ed è stato ammesso al servizio nel 1981. Nel 1994 erano state prodotte oltre 750 unità. L’autista e il comandante sono seduti nella cabina anteriore. La torretta è composta da due metà, con il cannone montato nel mezzo. La rotazione della torretta è limitata a 225 gradi su entrambi i lati, a causa dei cavi. Il cannone è dotato di un sistema di caricamento completamente automatico. Tutte le ottiche si trovano nella metà sinistra della torretta. L’artigliere e l’operatore del caricatore si trovano a sinistra, mentre l’addetto alle munizioni è sul lato destro, dove si trova anche un DhSK sul tetto della torretta. La torretta e il telaio contengono 60 proiettili.
