Il Curtiss JN “Jenny” era una serie di biplani costruiti dalla Curtiss Aeroplane Company di Hammondsport, New York, a partire dal 1915. Sebbene la serie Curtiss JN fosse stata originariamente prodotta come velivolo da addestramento per l’esercito degli Stati Uniti, il “Jenny” (il soprannome comune deriva da “JN”) continuò dopo la prima guerra mondiale come aereo civile, diventando la spina dorsale dell’aviazione civile americana del dopoguerra. I piloti trovavano che la stabilità e la bassa velocità del Jenny lo rendessero ideale per i voli acrobatici e le esibizioni acrobatiche nell’era del barnstorming. Molti Jenny sono stati restaurati e sono esposti nei musei aeronautici di tutta la nazione.
